On July 14, a delegation from TÜV SÜD visited the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone (HTCZ) to conduct site tours and hold discussions, injecting new vitality into Shenzhen-Hong Kong scientific and technological cooperation. The delegation consisted of Mr. Lee Chung Heng, Chief Financial Officer of TÜV SÜD North Asia; Mr. Chen Haoxuan, Senior Vice President of Consumer Product Services, Greater China; Ms. Yao Yanling, General Manager of Shenzhen Branch and Marketing Director; and Ms. Jiang Shan, Procurement Manager. The delegation was warmly received by the Hetao Development Authority, and Ms. Hou Yan, Director of the Comentropy Service Center, participated in the discussion to explore collaborative opportunities.

The delegation first visited the Hetao Exhibition and Exchange Center, where they gained an immersive understanding of the park's development and construction journey. From its locational advantages and cutting-edge industrial layout to its innovation-driven ecosystem and cultivation of scientific and technological excellence, the detailed explanations and vivid displays offered the delegation a direct experience of the innovative charm of the HTCZ, deepening their understanding of this vibrant hub for science and technology.

During the meeting, the Hetao Development Authority introduced the industrial policy framework of the Shenzhen zone, focusing on talent attraction, financial support, and incentives for technology transfer, comprehensively illustrating the "policy toolbox" designed to support innovation-driven enterprises. Additionally, the authority shared its vision for the zone's future development, outlining plans to focus on high-end innovation and deepen Shenzhen-Hong Kong collaboration. TÜV SÜD representatives, leveraging their expertise in quality certification and technical services, engaged in in-depth discussions with the Hetao Development Authority to identify areas of mutual interest. They explored how the combined resources of both parties could provide tailored services to enterprises in the zone, facilitating technological innovation and industrial upgrading. The discussions conveyed a strong intent to strengthen collaboration and foster joint development.

This visit by the TÜV SÜD delegation has forged a new bridge for exchanges between the HTCZ and international professional organizations. As a member of the World WLAN Application Alliance (WAA), TÜV SÜD is poised to deepen its collaboration with the Hetao Headquarters in areas such as certification testing and standards internationalization. This partnership is expected to accelerate the development of the HTCZ into a world-class scientific innovation platform, advancing Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation in science and technology to new heights and injecting greater momentum into the innovation-driven development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
