CATARC Standards Institute Visits Hetao Headquarters

On June 17, 2025, a delegation from the China Automotive Standardization Research Institute of China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC Standards Institute) visited the Hetao International Organization Headquarters (Hetao Headquarters). The visit focused on discussions regarding the development of standards organizations, standardization cooperation in the automotive sector, and exploring pathways for the high-quality development of the automotive industry.
During a meeting with the Hetao Development Authority, leaders from the authority warmly welcomed the delegation. They provided a detailed overview of Hetao's current industrial policies, including tax incentives and talent attraction initiatives. Additionally, they showcased the comprehensive research facilities, convenient transportation and logistics infrastructure, and the vibrant innovation ecosystem fostered by its industrial clusters, all of which provide a solid foundation for exploring future collaborative efforts. Representatives from the CATARC Standards Institute outlined CATARC's organizational structure, business areas, and the specific functions and internationalization efforts of the Standards Institute. They analyzed the current state of automotive industry standardization in light of global industry trends and shared valuable experiences and achievements in automotive standards setting. The meeting also covered preparatory work for the 2025 World Automotive Standards Innovation Conference, with an emphasis on exploring new models for cooperation. In the discussion segment, representatives from the Comentropy Industry and Standards Innovation Service Center, drawing on their experience in fostering the synergistic development of industry standards, offered recommendations on the development of standards organizations and automotive standardization cooperation. Following the meeting, the delegation toured the Hetao Exhibition Hall to gain further insight into the overall development and strategic planning of the area.
Leveraging its strategic locational advantages and supportive industrial policies, the Hetao Headquarters has already attracted numerous international industry and standards organizations, achieving notable results in the integrated development of industry and standards. This visit by the CATARC Standards Institute has significantly enhanced mutual understanding and trust.
